The road to Brexit

Brexit: The proposed transitional arrangements – do they provide certainty?

On 23 March 2018, the EU27 leaders endorsed an agreement that provides for a 21 month transition period between March 2019 and the end of 2020.

EU law is intended to continue to apply during the period and will have the same legal effect as it does within Member States. Read our paper which examines whether the agreement will provide firms with certainty with regard to the political process and what this means for their Brexit contingency planning.
